Three words: I, passed, chemistry!
A huge weight was lifted off my shoulders when, after a LONG and sleepless night, I awoke to a final grade of a C+ in chemistry! I had many moments of wanting to quit but I stuck it out and I'm ecstatic that it's over with and I am so happy I made it. I PASSED CHEMISTRY!!!
This marks a turning point in my journey since it means I am finally able to do the biology pre requisites. It took me nearly two years to get here and I couldn't be more proud.
The next 4 quarters will not be easy and are even more important than ever (a bio GPA of 2.85 is the MINIUM allowed for consideration to the nursing program) so I am shooting for a 4.0 in my remaining courses. I'm holding on to hope that I will do well because these are courses that I'm actually very interested in. Impossible? No. Miracles can happen and my C+ in chemistry proves it.
Oh, I'm also taking math (ughhh). I needed another class to keep my schedule within a certain amount of credits in order to qualify for financial aid. It's my last math class before I can take statistics which is a requirement that will help me down the road so I figure it's better to get it out of the way now.
